The study analyzed female leadership in innovation management within the Information Technology sector of a healthcare company located in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil. Using a quali-quantitative approach and a case study method, questionnaires were applied to the IT manager and her team to understand the influence of female leadership on organizational culture and innovation processes. The results indicate that female leadership is perceived as positive for innovation, although concrete examples and formal policies for promoting women to strategic positions are lacking. Advances have been identified in wage equity and the majority of women in the workforce, but challenges related to internal communication, cultural resistance, and organizational structure persist. Despite the transformative potential of female leadership, its consolidation as a vector of innovation requires structured policies and greater institutional visibility.
