This research aims to evaluate, using the DEMATEL method, the barriers that exist in the inventory management of the Iguarias Cozinha do Mar Restaurant. It is a family enterprise, managed by one of the family members, who conducts all control of manually. This study used a qualitative methodology with a case study, and bibliographical research and, through the application of the DEMATEL method, prioritized the identified barriers, distinguishing those that exert influence (causes) and directly affect other barriers, from those that are in the group of those influenced (effects) and are influenced by other factors. Finally, a causal diagram is presented that defines the influence relationships between the barriers, aiming to improve the efficiency of the restaurant's inventory management system. It is concluded that seasonal demand interferes with the inventory control process, and the research presented as barriers the susceptibility to internal and external control on the part of the manager, characterized by the installed culture inherent to small family businesses.
Vicente Moreira, Daiane Branco de Jesus, Vitória Cavagnoli, Juliana Cristina Gallas Copyright (c) 2025 Vicente Moreira, Daiane Branco de Jesus, Vitória Cavagnoli, Juliana Cristina Gallas https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/admpg/article/view/23928 Fri, 25 Jul 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Processo decisório de policiais em ocorrências de violência doméstica: recomendações a partir de um estudo da Naturalistic Decision Making https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/admpg/article/view/23941
Public security organizations play a fundamental role in combating violence against women and girls, a current and relevant issue for Brazilian society, given the increase in indicators associated with the issue. In order to contribute to improving decision-making by police officers in this scenario, this article seeks to understand the macrocognitive processes of police officers during intervention in domestic violence incidents, using the Naturalistic Decision Making (NDM) approach. Data was collected and processed through cognitive task analysis, using the critical decision method. The results indicate similarities in the decision-making process of military police officers when dealing with emergency and post-traumatic domestic violence incidents, suggesting the construction of a common map of police officers' cognitive processes in various incident scenarios. The study's contributions include the observation that multiple training and life experiences are necessary for police officers who work in the context of domestic violence, and that organizational practices that promote the maintenance of a common basis of understanding and shared mental models favor success in the decision-making process in the context studie
Rafael Bittencourt Riscarolli, Alisson Fernando dos Santos Mokdse, Monica C. To this end, a qualitative and quantitative documentary research was carried out on the annual reports, financial statements, explanatory notes and Sustainability Reports for the period from 2018 to 2022. The level of disclosure was assessed through content analysis, while the degree of readability was measured using the Gunning Fog Index. The final sample was made up of 19 cooperatives, listed on the Organization of Cooperatives of the State of Paraná (OCEPAR) portal. The results obtained revealed that there was no significant variation in the socio-environmental disclosure of cooperatives during the period. It was also found that social indicators were more evident in the cooperatives analyzed, and presented a readability index that was considered illegible throughout the period studied by the research. This condition makes it difficult to understand the socio-environmental information disclosed, which can generate users' lack of interest, proving to be contradictory to the established purposes, which aim at public disclosure and the security that cooperatives are adhering to socio-environmental practices. It was concluded from this work that agricultural cooperatives in Paraná provide insufficient socio-environmental information, most of which are difficult to understand.
Fábia Gouvêa Tomaz da Silva, Ualace Jader Gomes, Franciele Machado de Souza, Paulo César Machado Lemos Copyright (c) 2025 Fábia Gouvêa Tomaz da Silva, Ualace Jader Gomes, Franciele Machado de Souza, Paulo César Machado Lemos https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/admpg/article/view/24461 Fri, 25 Jul 2025 00:00:00 +0000 A CHAVE PARA DECISÕES INTELIGENTES: GESTÃO DE DADOS MESTRES NAS ORGANIZAÇÕES https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/admpg/article/view/23931
This study aims to analyze the influence of effective master data management (MDM) on contemporary organizations. By investigating the difficulties in interaction between Brazilians and foreigners, the study identifies the lack of integration and insertion programs as major obstacles. Presenting hypotheses about the difficulties in creating bonds and communication, the work highlights the importance of specific approaches and integration activities to overcome such barriers. Additionally, it explores cultural diversity and inclusion as ongoing processes that require effort and dedication. The research reveals the predominance of cultural, linguistic, and personal experience elements in forming bonds and communication. The results suggest that informal activities, language courses, and social events can promote a more inclusive environment. Based on quantitative and qualitative analyses, it is concluded that intercultural relationships in the workplace face significant challenges, but effective strategies can facilitate integration and promote a more harmonious coexistence. However, the study acknowledges the limitations of the sample size, emphasizing the need for further research to generalize the results and improve organizational practices related to cultural diversity and inclusion.
João Pinheiro de Barros Neto, Gisele Angelo Tanabe Copyright (c) 2025 João Pinheiro de Barros Neto, Gisele Angelo Tanabe https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/admpg/article/view/23958 Fri, 25 Jul 2025 00:00:00 +0000 FINANÇAS PESSOAIS: COMO A CRISE DA COVID-19 TRANSFORMOU A VIDA DE UNIVERSITÁRIOS https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/admpg/article/view/24039
In view of the increase in financial concerns, especially among university students, about the changes caused by the 2020 crisis and considering the decrease in income, it is necessary to investigate how these individuals manage and control their finances. Thus, the present study aimed to compare the management of personal finances of students at the Federal University of Santa Catarina before and after the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. The survey was conducted with 171 undergraduate students from different courses, through an online questionnaire consisting of 23 questions. Most respondents were female and between 21 and 30 years old. The results showed that the respondents have very good financial attitudes and most of them thought they had a reasonable knowledge about personal finances. During the pandemic period, there was a substantial increase, over 10%, in financial management practice among university students. However, despite the fact that many carry out financial control, they still lack the knowledge and persistence to continue to properly plan their expenses and income. In addition, it`s important for respondents to review their financial control methods to verify their real efficiency. It is recommended to expand the study geographically and include more financial management descriptors to enrich the analyses.
Christine Pereira, Fillipe Pereira Alves, Ani Caroline Grigion Potrich, Ana Luiza Paraboni, Kássia Schneider Maranhão Copyright (c) 2025 Christine Pereira, Fillipe, Ani , Ana Luiza, Kássia https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/admpg/article/view/24039 Fri, 25 Jul 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Use of simulated annealing algorithm to optimize stock portfolio https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/admpg/article/view/23929
This study applies the Simulated Tempering technique, an optimization method, to the management of stock portfolios at B3, aiming to maximize risk-adjusted returns. Using a quantitative approach, the research employed descriptive and analytical statistical analysis of the available data. The results show that most complaints (48.1%) come from the Southeast region, with São Paulo leading in the number of complaints. The predominant demographic profile is male (57.3%) and in the age group of 31 to 40 years (32.7%). The most complained sectors include telecommunications (29.8%) and financial services (25.6%), with frequent issues related to charges and disputes (41.9%), contracts and offers (18.5%), and customer service (13.9%). Most complaints (39.7%) pertain to online purchases, while 19.9% occurred without a purchase or contract, suggesting additional problems. Although 98.9% of complaints are responded to, only 53.7% are finalized and assessed. There is a significant negative correlation between response time and customer satisfaction (r = -0.100; p < 0.0001), indicating that delays negatively affect service perception. Satisfaction ratings are polarized, with extreme ratings being predominant. Older consumers tend to be more critical in their evaluations, while younger ones are more generous. The study underscores the need for improvements in customer service and billing transparency to enhance satisfaction and reduce complaints.
Leandro Divino Miranda de Oliveira, Marcos Inácio Severo de Almeida, Jussara Goulart da Silva Copyright (c) 2025 Leandro Divino Miranda de Oliveira, Marcos Inácio Severo de Almeida, Jussara Goulart da Silva https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/admpg/article/view/23945 Fri, 25 Jul 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Benefits and barriers to the adoption of smart home technologies: a literature review https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/admpg/article/view/23969
This study conducts a systematic review of the literature on the adoption of smart home technologies, exploring the benefits, barriers, and factors that influence the acceptance of these technologies by consumers. The aim is to seek an optimum point for the components of the indicator influenced by the actions of the distributor itself, linked to the curves defined by the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL), without taking into account the inherent costs of the actions of each component, focusing only on the results of the indicator's targets and their future impacts. To this end, in addition to the technical part defined by ANEEL on the methodology of the indicator, the literature was searched for theories relating to the natural monopoly of the electricity distribution market and the need imposed by the regulator to define control indicators with a view to better serving the population, guaranteeing quality at fairer prices. As a result, it was observed that the earning share methodology, established for regulatory non-technical losses, encourages distributors to adopt an active policy to reduce losses, however, the costs involved in its adoption may limit the concessionaire's financial return in relation to the coverage provided by the Regulatory Agency for the loss target.
FELIPE VOLKMER, Jonatan Lautenschlage, Lucas Eduardo Vieira Martins Copyright (c) 2025 FELIPE VOLKMER, Jonatan Lautenschlage, Lucas Martins https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/admpg/article/view/23934 Fri, 25 Jul 2025 00:00:00 +0000 ANALYSIS OF THE DISTINCTION OF COMMUNICATION AND ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE OF A SOFTWARE COMPANY IN MARINGÁ/PR THROUGH PRESENTIAL WORKING MODELS AND HOME OFFICE TELEWORKING https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/admpg/article/view/23962
The study investigated the dynamics of organizational communication and business culture in a software company in the city of Maringá/PR, taking into account in-person work models and teleworking. To this end, a qualitative descriptive research was carried out with twelve employees of the company, six of whom work in person and six in a teleworking model. From the interviews, it was identified that for both work models there is no difficulty in understanding the messages passed on by the organization or by colleagues, however, there is a loss of communication agility when contact with teleworkers is necessary. The results in relation to organizational culture showed that although the company has the same pillars for all units, teleworkers experience and absorb the concept of each of them in a different way from those who are in person. The understanding is the same, but because they are at a distance, they need to put into practice the cultural values desired by the organization on their own. Workers who are in person put the same cultural values into practice with their other colleagues, as social pressure makes them pay more attention to the behaviors of other employees. In this sense, there are differences in the way each work model communicates and puts the company's culture into practice. It is evident that both work models are attentive to the organization's rules and values.

Keywords: Teleworking; Organizational culture; Organizational communication
Augusto Cesare de Campos Soares, Murilo Martinez Faccin Copyright (c) 2025 Augusto Cesare de Campos Soares, Murilo https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/admpg/article/view/23962 Fri, 25 Jul 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Um UM NOVO CAMPO: O IMPACTO DA DIFUSÃO TECNOLÓGICA EM UMA COOPERATIVA AGRÍCOLA https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/admpg/article/view/24053
The diffusion of technologies in cooperatives is crucial for their competitiveness and sustainability in an increasingly digital world. This strategic integration of digital tools brings benefits to both the cooperative and its members, impacting various aspects of the business. The research analyzed the processes of technological diffusion between the cooperative and its members through a case study and a questionnaire, using statistical tests to validate the responses of participants involved in grain production and potato units. The study demonstrated that the implementation of new technologies in the agricultural cooperative resulted in significant increases in productivity and operational efficiency. Economically, there was a reduction in operational costs and an increase in profitability, improving the quality of products and market prices. Training programs for farmers were essential for the effective adoption of new technologies. Agricultural practices became more sustainable, with a reduction in the use of water and chemical inputs, promoting the conservation of natural resources. However, technological diffusion faced challenges, including initial resistance from traditional farmers and the need for significant financial investments and continuous technical support. In the long term, the cooperative proved to be more resilient to climate change and market fluctuations, establishing a solid foundation for sustainable growth. As a suggestion for future research, it was proposed to analyze the phenomenon from the perspective of the cooperative members.
Aldo Siatkowski, ALEXANDRE LONGUIM LECHINSKI, Myller Augusto Santos Gomes Copyright (c) 2025 Aldo Siatkowski, ALEXANDRE LONGUIM LECHINSKI, Myller Augusto Santos Gomes https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/admpg/article/view/24053 Fri, 25 Jul 2025 00:00:00 +0000 LEADERSHIP, NETWORK INNOVATION AND INNOVATION LABORATORIES: AN EPISTEMOLOGICAL ANALYSIS https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/admpg/article/view/23930
This study performs epistemological and sociological analyzes to provide a multidimensional understanding of the themes of leadership, network innovation and innovation laboratories, based on a literature review and the choice of representative articles.
