Este estudio analiza la cobertura periodística en línea del conflicto entre el cantante de forró/pé-de-serra Flávio José y el cantante de country/agronejo Gusttavo Lima durante la 40ª edición del festival Maior São João do Mundo en Campina Grande, Paraíba. La investigación se centra en cómo los medios locales y nacionales abordaron el evento, investigando las características del periodismo web y los posibles sesgos editoriales. Se analizaron noticias publicadas en portales como G1 Paraíba, Jornal da Paraíba, O Globo y Estadão. Los resultados indican que la cobertura estuvo influenciada por las redes sociales y notas oficiales, con poca profundidad crítica. Este artículo concluye con una discusión sobre la necesidad de una mayor polifonía y profundidad en la cobertura de noticias en línea.
