O seu conteúdo é trazido dos Projetos Exvotos do Brasil (2005-2011) e Ex-votos das Américas (2011-2014), que objetivaram identificar, catalogar e iconografar a rica tipologia dos ex-votos no Brasil e em países da América Central e do Norte. Aqui, o recorte analisa algumas cartas e bilhetes ex-votivos como fontes para a informação e a memória social, por serem ricos elementos advindos de um processo folkcomunicacional, onde o povo notabiliza, num ambiente, os seus problemas e histórias ao público em geral. No curso do texto alguns exemplos que ilustrarão o potencial da media ou simplesmente testemunho social.
