Os rituais do Olubajé evidenciam valores simbológicos que compõem o universo que circula em torno da mitologia do orixá Omolú. Para elaboração deste artigo, a pesquisa apoia-se no método de observação e fenomenológico (MASSINI, 1989) e adota o olhar através da análise discursiva (FOUCAULT, 1996) como um artifício metodológico da dinâmica dos enunciados proferidos pela sacerdotisa responsável pelo Templo da Religião Africana Ilè Àsé Iyá Ogunté1, no município de Ananindeua, no estado do Pará, na festa do Olubajé2 que acontece com o interesse principal de agradecer pela restituição da saúde da sacerdotisa do templo. O objetivo deste texto é descrever e analisar a festa do Olubajé dedicada ao orixá Omolú3, bem como avaliar as simbologias ligadas ao evento relacionadas às narrativas mitológicas dos orixás (PRANDI, 2012).
