O presente artigo analisa, por meio de alguns textos de Literatura de Cordel, disponíveis na internet, em que medida esta literatura incorporou as práticas preventivas contra a Covid-19 em sua temática, uma vez que tem no leque de suas características uma linguagem popular e lúdica e em seus temas insere o objetivo de informar seus leitores. Com este intuito, aqui visualiza-se a Folkcomunicação como instrumento e ponte entre o saber científico e o popular. Emprega-se a metodologia da Análise de Conteúdo, tomando para  amostra do estudo apenas quatro cordéis publicados no ano de 2020. A partir deles, investiga-se e comprova-se o objetivo proposto, ou seja, as informações e orientações sobre a Covid-19, preconizadas pela Organização Mundial de Saúde, veiculadas entre versos e estrofes de uma literatura popular.
