O livro O Jeito de Falar dos “Pé Vermeio” (Ed. Do Autor, 2020), do doutor em História e pesquisador cultural Emilio Carlos Boschilia, é um trabalho de “arqueologia da memória” segundo palavras do próprio autor. Ao realizar este trabalho, ele resgata a memória coletiva e os modos de fala do Norte do Paraná, com foco na cidade de Nova Esperança, e transporta o leitor para os anos 1950 e 1960, período em que a cidade florescia sob a influência das "frentes pioneiras" e de diversas correntes migratórias, como as de japoneses, alemães, italianos e árabes. Com uma abordagem respeitosa, o autor explora o legado linguístico e cultural dos chamados "Pé Vermeio", termo que, embora inicialmente pejorativo, tornou-se um símbolo de orgulho para os habitantes da região.
