Este artigo discute a prática de poetas-repórteres da literatura de cordel perante o conceito de líder de opinião, de Luiz Beltrão. A seguir, analisa, comparativamente, aspectos da poética do cantor e compositor brasileiro Antonio Carlos Belchior constantes nas mídias tradicionais – livros/artigos – e nos folhetos de cordel – que biografam o artista. A referida análise é um fragmento de uma pesquisa que colocou frente a frente aspectos da obra do artista, tendo a hipótese de que as narrativas em tela são relativamente afastadas e que, desta forma, representam duas diferentes poéticas.
