O artigo propõe o conceito de folkfeminismo como uma categoria analítica para compreender as práticas comunicacionais femininas nas culturas populares da América Latina. Ao articular folkcomunicação e feminismos latino-americanos, o folkfeminismo evidencia como mulheres em contextos populares constroem narrativas, performances e espaços de resistência simbólica, desafiando hierarquias sociais e de gênero. A proposta se fundamenta em revisão bibliográfica, articulando epistemologias decoloniais e comunitárias, e abre caminho para futuras pesquisas empíricas sobre a agência comunicacional feminina.
