Resumen

This article presentes an overview of the digital root, demonstrating its functions, methods and applications. This article also presentes a study about the application of the digital root in the generation of random sequences of numbers. For this, an algorithm for generation of random sequence of numbers is proposed, whose results as to its usability, using a battery of tests, are presented in this article.
