Abstract

This article begins by framing the intersection between ethics and artificial intelligence (AI), considering two main dimensions: normative ethics and applied ethics. The second section reinforces the need to move from the abstract to the practical level with an integrated perspective. The third section examines roles and responsibilities in AI safety. Next, the text focuses on Generative AI (GenAI) and academic integrity. From a user perspective, it explores an activity within the research context, emphasizing the application of GenAI to qualitative data analysis. Finally, the article presents the GenAI Governance Model, which outlines a comprehensive framework for the responsible and integrated implementation of GenAI in research environments. It is concluded that it is necessary to adopt a governance approach to ensure the responsible use of GenAI.
