Abstract

We analyzed, in this paper, how High School occupations (May and June 2016) in Brazil, more specifically in the city of Rio Grande, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, could produce mutations in the student subjectivities involved. Its empirical corpus consists of a discursive outburst about High School occupations in Brazil and students’ statements who occupied their schools in Rio Grande. The Foucaultian problematization was used as a theoretical-methodological contribution. As a result, we found the emergence and updating of a slogan of truth about a revolutionary youth that goes to the fight, which acts on the occupying student subjectivities, as well as we noticed signs of adult-centered becomings in an youth experienced with the occupations, in which marks attributed to the adult subject are metamorphosed with the senses attributed to the young as effects of the involvement with the political action at stake.
