A educação dos sentidos: uma abordagem sobre as prescrições do ensino de desenho entre 1870 a 1907

O artigo apresenta os autores nacionais que tratam do ensino de desenho no período de 1870 a 1907, a partir dos acervos da Universidade de São Paulo, da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais e da Universidade Federal do Paraná. Objetiva-se apresentar as prescrições do ensino de desenho e elucidar como o desenho contribui com a educação dos sentidos, seguindo as modalidades desenho definido e imitativo apresentadas por Gregorio Cunha. Nos acervos foram mapeados 25 títulos: 11 de desenho definido, 11 de desenho convencional e 3 de desenho imitativo. O desenho está presente nos diferentes níveis escolares e cumpre finalidades educativas variadas, no entendimento de que o seu o ensino pela observação do real permite a educação do olhar, a destreza da mão e desenvolve a dimensão espacial, o que propiciaria a formação de sujeitos autônomos e livres.

Abstract
Senses education: an approach about drawing teaching prescriptions between 1870 and 1907
This article presents the national authors that deal with the drawing teaching from 1870 to 1907, considering the collections from the University of São Paulo, the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, the Federal University of Minas Gerais and the Federal University of Paraná. The objective is to present the drawing teaching prescriptions and to elucidate how drawing contributes to the senses education, following the defined and imitative drawing modalities presented by Gregorio Cunha. In the collections 25 titles were mapped: 11 defined drawing, 11 conventional drawing and 3 imitative drawing. Drawing is present in different school levels and fulfills varied educational purposes, understanding that its teaching through observing the real allows educating the look, the hand dexterity and develops the spatial dimension, which would propitiate the autonomous and free subjects formation.

La educación de los sentidos: un abordaje sobre las prescripciones de la enseñanza de diseño entre 1870 y 1907
El artículo presenta los autores nacionales que tratan de la enseñanza de diseño en el período de 1870 a 1907, a partir de los acervos de Universidad de São Paulo, Universidad Federal de Río de Janeiro, Universidad Federal de Minas Gerais y Universidad Federal de Paraná. Se pretende presentar las prescripciones de la enseñanza de diseño y elucidar de que forma el diseño contribuye con la educación de los sentidos, siguiendo las modalidades de diseño definido e imitativo presentadas por Gregorio Cunha. En los acervos 25 títulos fueron mapeados: 11 de diseño definido, 11 de diseño convencional y 3 de diseño imitativo.
