Inclusão da criança com deficiência no ensino regular: olhar das famílias sobre a inclusão na escola

Este artigo apresenta o olhar das famílias de crianças com deficiência sobre seu próprio filho e sobre o processo de inclusão no ensino regular. Participaram do estudo cinco representantes de famílias de crianças com deficiência, matriculadas nos anos iniciais de escolas públicas de uma cidade do Centro-Oeste catarinense. Os dados foram produzidos a partir de entrevistas e visitas domiciliares. Os resultados mostraram que as famílias têm expectativas positivas com relação a seus filhos e consideram que as escolas vêm atendendo satisfatoriamente às demandas do processo de inclusão. Contudo, apontaram a formação de professores, o rodízio de profissionais e o tempo de Atendimento Educacional Especializado como aspectos a serem melhorados.

Abstract
Inclusion of children with disability in regular education: families’ view of school inclusion
This paper presents the families’ view of children with disabilities about their own child and about the inclusion process in regular education. Five representatives of families of children with disabilities, enrolled in the early grades of public schools in a city in the Midwest of Santa Catarina, Brazil, participated in the study. The data were produced from interviews and home visits. The results showed that the families have positive expectations regarding their children and consider that the schools have satisfactorily met the demands of the inclusion process. However, they pointed out the formation of teachers, the rotation of professionals and the time of Specialized Educational Assistance as aspects to be improved.

Inclusión del niño con discapacidad en la enseñanza regular: visión de las familias sobre la inclusión en la escuela
El artículo presenta la mirada de las familias de niños con discapacidad sobre su propio hijo y sobre el proceso de inclusión en la enseñanza regular. Participaron cinco representantes de familias de niños con discapacidad, matriculadas en los años iniciales de escuelas públicas de una ciudad del Centro-Oeste catarinense. Los datos fueron producidos a partir de entrevistas y visitas domiciliarias. Los resultados mostraron que las familias tienen expectativas positivas con respecto a sus hijos y consideran que las escuelas vienen atendiendo satisfactoriamente a las demandas del proceso de inclusión. Sin embargo, apuntaron la formación de profesores, el cambio de profesionales y el tiempo de Atención Educativa Especializada como aspectos a ser mejorados.
