Resumo

Corporality, Sexuality and Eroticism in View of the City of New Cultural Geography

La ciudad entendida bajo parámetros occidentales se ha conformado en la heteronormatividad, en laproducción y reafirmación de cuerpos binarios; entendiendo de esta manera que las únicas corporalidades aceptables son las binarias y los únicos erotismos permitidos son los heteronormativos. Esta situación se ve quebrantada con la existencia de otros cuerpos, otras formas de entender y ejercer la corporalidad, nuevas y rupturistas maneras de generar erotismo con cuerpos no binarios, con estructuras e identidades de género no limitadas en lo masculino o lo femenino, derribando barreras y difuminando fronteras se hacen paso aquellas identidades trans que hoy transitan no solo por los géneros sino que también por la ciudad, exigiendo y transgrediendo la norma estipulada por un sistema patriarcal; ejerciendo practicas subversivas para el sistema heteronormativo generando un erotismo que también rompe barreras geográficas, desestructurando paradigmas geográficos y urbanos, colocando en el tapete de la geografía la problemática de lo marginal, de aquello estigmatizado por una sociedad discriminatoria cargada de violencias simbólicas en cada espacio urbano habitado por estos cuerpos transgresores. Las prohibiciones de los espacios urbanos hacia cuerpos no binarios, no acomodados bajo cánones heteronormativos, serán los ejes centrales de este artículo.

Abstract

The city understood under Western standards has been formed in heteronormativity, in the production and reaffirmation of binary bodies, thus understanding that the only acceptable corporalities are binary and that the only eroticisms allowed are heteronormative. This situation is broken by the existence of other bodies, other ways of understanding and exercising corporeality, and new and disruptive ways to generate eroticism with non-binary bodies, with structures and gender identities not limited to male or female, breaking down barriers, blurring boundaries towards trans identities that pass today not only through gender but also through the city, demanding and transgressing the rule set by a patriarchal system, exerting subversive practices to the heteronormative system by the generation of an eroticism that also breaks geographical barriers, deconstructing geographical and urban paradigms, putting on the table of geography the issue of the marginal one, of the stigmatized by a discriminatory society, full of symbolic violence in every urban space inhabited by these lawless bodies. The prohibitions of urban spaces against non-binary bodies, not accommodated under heteronormative fees, will be the cornerstones of this article.
