narrativa.
Palavras-chave: Acesso à justiça; Métodos consensuais de administração de conflitos; Justiça
Restaurativa; Direito Constitucional; Pacificação.
Anne Carolline Rodrigues da Silva Brito Copyright (c) 2025 Publicatio UEPG: Ciências Sociais Aplicadas https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-10-09 2025-10-09 32 1 1 14 DIALOG AND WELCOMING https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/sociais/article/view/24221
Carla Giselle Duenha de Souza Copyright (c) 2025 Publicatio UEPG: Ciências Sociais Aplicadas https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-10-07 2025-10-07 32 1 1 17 ABOUT BEING A RESTORATIVE JUSTICE FACILITATOR https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/sociais/article/view/24390
As a popular educator, instructor and facilitator of restorative justice, I would like to reflect on some topics relating to the being a facilitator, which goes far beyond knowledge of different methodologies. Being a facilitator allows us to broaden our understanding of being a differentiated presence, because it goes against the hegemonic culture in which comparison, domination, pressure and competition reign. According to my experience, being a facilitator means responding to an internal and external invitation to increasingly refine your communication and develop inclusive, understanding and compassionate, and therefore non-violent, interventions. The topics range from time to care, from questions and a safe environment to the courage to touch pain, from empty to non-judgement, from the True Self to rootedness. Their value depends on each reader's dialectical relationship with the world and their interlocutors.

Key words: Restorative Justice. True Self. Skills. Being a facilitator.
Petronella Maria Boonen Copyright (c) 2025 Publicatio UEPG: Ciências Sociais Aplicadas https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-10-07 2025-10-07 32 1 1 12 SULEAR A TROCA DE LENTES: https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/sociais/article/view/24236
Restorative justice occupies a relevant space in Brazil in the legal-institutional and academic debate about the future of the penal system and alternatives to prison. However, this development occurred without recognizing the role that race plays in the organization of the very structures that restorative justice, from an emancipatory perspective, seeks to oppose. This is a theoretical discussion to be developed through predominantly bibliographic research, of a qualitative nature, whose objective is to return to the traditional dichotomy proposed by Howard Zehr between retributive justice and restorative justice, to argue that the author narrates the emergence of the model retributive from a Eurocentric perspective. This perspective consequently interferes with the way we think about restorative justice based on our reality. Thus, another transformative perspective is reflected in the need to think about the repercussions that the structuring frameworks of our domination would have on the construction of an emancipatory restorative paradigm.
César Augusto Ferreira São José Copyright (c) 2025 Publicatio UEPG: Ciências Sociais Aplicadas https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-10-07 2025-10-07 32 1 1 14 JUSTIÇA RESTAURATIVA E O CENÁRIO DE MULHERES ENCARCERADAS NO CEARÁ https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/sociais/article/view/24010
Issues involving women, crime and prison are often the scene of violations of fundamental rights and human dignity, where female specificities are rarely attended to in penitentiary, presenting a situation of inequality and abandonment. In view of this, we seek to verify aspects of female crime in Ceará and analyze how restorative practices can contribute to the prevention of crimes and the resocialization of offenders. To this end, bibliographic and documentary research was developed. It was concluded that restorative justice is a complementary tool to the criminal system, provides effective resocialization and reintegration of female offenders and reduces the incidence of new transgressive behaviors.

Keywords: Restorative justice; Female crime; Prison overcrowding; Ceará penitentiary system; Resocialization.
Mara Livia Moreira Damasceno Mariana Andrade Sucupira Caio Viana Andrade Copyright (c) 2025 Publicatio UEPG: Ciências Sociais Aplicadas https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-10-09 2025-10-09 32 1 1 18 JUSTIÇA RESTAURATIVA E A INCLUSÃO DE MINORIAS SOCIAIS https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/sociais/article/view/24224
This article investigates the intersection between restorative justice and social minorities, analyzing how this convergence can transform historical narratives of exclusion and inequality. By incorporating plural perspectives and considering contexts of marginalization and exclusion, restorative justice can provide space for voices historically silenced. This approach is not limited to resolving isolated conflicts but seeks to influence social dynamics systematically, operating on intrapersonal, interpersonal, organizational, and community levels. By challenging dominant and hegemonic narratives, restorative justice contributes to the transformation of social relations. The research concludes that restorative justice is not merely an alternative to the penal system but a pathway to transforming social relations and building a fairer and more inclusive society, where all narratives are valued and respected.
Adriana Accioly Gomes Massa Mariele Zanco Laismann Copyright (c) 2025 Publicatio UEPG: Ciências Sociais Aplicadas https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-10-07 2025-10-07 32 1 1 14 IMPRESCINDIBILIDADE DO ANTIRRACISMO À JUSTIÇA RESTAURATIVA BRASILEIRA https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/sociais/article/view/24220
Restorative justice has emerged as a potential way of rethinking accountability in criminal conflicts, but its adaptation to Brazil must take into account the preponderance of racism in social relations. The present study, through qualitative research, employing bibliographical and documental investigation, and adopting the hermeneutic-critical method, aims to analyze the remnants of racism in the Brazilian mindset, and the importance of humanizing black people in order to enable the responsibility sought by restorative justice. Initially, it discusses stigmatization/labelling, dehumanization and deindividuation and their effects on black bodies. It also addresses the adaptation of Brazilian racism to positivist discourses. Next, we proposed an approach to the symbolic dimension of the restorative encounter, based on the ethics of alterity and the ethics of non-violence. Finally, we attempted to concretely investigate how to make anti-racist restorative justice possible, and concluded that it is essential to raise awareness and train mediators to deal with cases of imbalance related to race.
Letícia Pereira de Lemos Katie Silene Cáceres Arguello Copyright (c) 2025 Publicatio UEPG: Ciências Sociais Aplicadas https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-10-07 2025-10-07 32 1 1 17 RESTORATIVE JUSTICE APPLIED TO JURY TRIALS https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/sociais/article/view/24245
This article aims to study the possibility of applying Restorative Justice practices in processes submitted to the jury trial. Dialectics was used as a method, as well as bibliographic and documentary research. Initially, concepts relating to the jury rite were presented. It then sought to explore theoretical and practical aspects of restorative justice, presenting this as a possible proposal for criminal justice. Finally, we sought a joint analysis of the possibilities and obstacles of restorative justice practices in processes submitted to the jury, especially crimes considered serious. As a conclusion, we have that restorative justice is a possibility in jury processes, and has even been applied in cases in Brazil since 1995. However, there remains a certain resistance from Brazilian courts to the application of a method with widespread dissemination that is still recent, with a view to removing State's monopoly on punishment
Paulo Henrique Eberhardt Diogo Vequiato Canhete Copyright (c) 2025 Publicatio UEPG: Ciências Sociais Aplicadas https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-10-09 2025-10-09 32 1 1 17 VENEZUELAN REFUGEES: https://revistas.uepg.br/index.php/sociais/article/view/20970
Abstract: The article has as its object of study the analysis of the situation of Venezuelan immigrants in relation to the Original Civil Action No. are found in Brazil. For its development, an exploratory, bibliographic methodology with qualitative analysis was chosen. In this design, as a specific objective of the study, it is intended to verify if the human rights of Venezuelan immigrants are in fact guaranteed. The hypothesis that is explored is that these immigrants find themselves in Brazil in a scenario of insecurity and often of violation of rights. It was identified that the Brazilian government provides assistance to immigrants in a precarious way, dividing the existing services with the local Brazilian population, generating several conflicts that led to the Original Civil Action n.º. 3121, considered unconstitutional.

Keywords: Venezuelan immigrants.
