A pandemia e o consequente isolamento social alteraram a percepção de espaço e a relação entre o real e o virtual. Neste trabalho analisa-se uma experiência de ensino remoto realizada no período de pandemia de COVID-19, no sentido de refletir sobre como se deu a apropriação, tradução e ressignificação do espaço virtual para o real, ou seja, qual a construção feita pelos estudantes quanto ao entendimento dos conteúdos e locais explorados virtualmente. Os resultados obtidos permitem inferir sobre o papel agregador de espaços não formais de ensino e a importância do uso de diferentes ferramentas didáticas na busca de superar as mais variadas limitações, inclusive em momentos de isolamento social.
