RESGATANDO JOGOS E BRINCADEIRAS TRADICIONAIS EM UM PROJETO SOCIAL

Abstract

O artigo apresenta a experiência do projeto de extensão “Resgatando Jogos e Brincadeiras Tradicionais”, desenvolvido pela Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul junto ao Centro de Apoio e Integração de Jovens (CAIJ), em Corumbá-MS. O projeto teve como objetivo resgatar jogos e brincadeiras tradicionais da cultura lúdica brasileira por meio da vivência de brinquedos como pião, elástico, corda, 5 Marias, peteca e carrinho de rolimã. A pesquisa, de natureza qualitativa e descritiva, buscou compreender a percepção das crianças sobre as atividades realizadas, os brinquedos utilizados e seus conhecimentos prévios acerca dessas práticas. Participaram aproximadamente 75 crianças em situação de vulnerabilidade social, atendidas por uma organização da sociedade civil. Os resultados evidenciaram ampla aceitação das atividades, destacando-se o pião e o jogo de 5 Marias como os brinquedos mais apreciados. Conclui-se que a ação contribuiu para a valorização da cultura lúdica tradicional e para a formação dos acadêmicos envolvidos.
