: This article analyzes the integration of Extension, Teaching, and Research through the extension project "Onomastics Applied to Education: Sustainability and Interdisciplinarity," developed at the State University of Western Paraná (Unioeste). Linked to the research project "Onomastics, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and Education," the project promoted both pre-service and in-service teacher education through the design, implementation, and evaluation of interdisciplinary teaching practices grounded in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The experience involved graduate students, undergraduate teacher education students, and basic education teachers, integrating extension activities, teaching internships, scientific production, and continuing professional development. The findings show that integrating research, teaching, and extension strengthens critical teacher education, fosters participants' active engagement, and encourages the development of innovative pedagogical practices, demonstrating the potential of university extension as a cornerstone of academic education and the university's social commitment.
