Abstract

This article reports and analyzes the experience of developing and applying the legal-educational game Climate Crisis: The Legal Challenge, linked to the RG Clima Permanent Extension Program at the Federal University of Southern Bahia (UFSB). The study aims to examine the contributions of this educational technology to climate education and interdisciplinary legal education. Methodologically, it is a qualitative, descriptive, and exploratory study structured as an extension experience report. The game was developed through the integration of teaching, research, and extension activities and later applied with public high school students. The results revealed high acceptance of the methodology, contributing to the understanding of climate concepts, socio-environmental rights, identification of fake news, and discussion of environmental solutions. The study concludes that the game is a relevant tool for promoting climate education and strengthening university-community engagement.
