SUPORTE ARQUITETÔNICO PARA DEMANDAS POPULARES (SUPOP/UFSJ): ASSESSORIA COLABORATIVA EM PLANEJAMENTO DE OBRA CIVIL

Abstract

Este artigo visa apresentar o escopo de atuação do programa de extensão Suporte Arquitetônico para Demandas Populares (SUPOP), voltado à assessoria de planejamento em construção civil na cidade de São João del-Rei (Minas Gerais, Brasil) e região. Entre as motivações estão a demanda de moradores, o anseio pela melhoria na qualidade das edificações e a revisão do campo da arquitetura. As atividades incluem a divulgação das ações, a captação de demandas, a elaboração dos suportes de planejamento, bem como o monitoramento das obras. Por meio da exploração de metodologias colaborativas, fomenta-se a autonomia e o empoderamento de indivíduos e coletivos, protagonizando-os como principais agentes decisórios em seus empreendimentos. No âmbito de unidade curricular do curso de Arquitetura e Urbanismo, já foram abordados 101 casos particulares e três escolas públicas. Os resultados alcançados e a devolutiva dos participantes indicam êxito e caminhos para a ampliação da abrangência do programa.
