Extension projects require evaluation tools aligned with institutional policies. This study aimed to apply an integrated methodology to strengthen the REMELIXO Project. The methodology included a situational diagnosis among UFRJ-Macaé students (n=375), an internal audit of activities, and an Adherence Matrix based on UFRJ’s Sustainability and Regenerative Education Policy (SER/UFRJ). Results revealed high household medicine storage (97.6%) and limited awareness of collection points (75%). The audit identified standardization opportunities. The Matrix showed 83% adherence to the SER/UFRJ Policy, with Extension reaching 100%. Data integration supported a Strategic Plan and consolidated the project at the university Ecopoint, collecting 140 kg of medicines in one year. In conclusion, this integrated methodology strengthens extension management, and the Adherence Matrix serves as a model for other sustainability-aligned initiatives.
