CARACTERIZAÇÃO GERONTAGÓGICA DOS PROGRAMAS EDUCATIVOS PARA IDOSOS EM MEDELLIN COLÔMBIA

Abstract
Esta investigação faz uma análise das características gerontagógicas dos programas para idosos em relação às suas experiências, referências conceituais e investigativas, realizadas através das práticas de programas educativos em Medellín, ofertados mediante cursos de extensão e oficinas, identificando a teoria gerontagógica que os fundamentam em concordância com a autorrealização e participação social do idoso. O trabalho investigativo orienta-se pelo paradigma qualitativo: o enfoque interpretativo, mediante um estudo de caso múltiplo, tomando como referência três programas educativos: oficina de filosofia e literatura da biblioteca Piloto; oficina de literatura “Palabras Mayores” da Coomeva e os cursos de extensão da “Cátedra universitária para idoso do Tecnológico de Antioquia”. Utiliza-se como técnica a entrevista semiestruturada, cuja informação é registrada em Atlas ti; dessa forma, realiza-se a triangulação de dados gerados com a informação das entrevistas nos três programas em questão. Nas conclusões, destacam-se as características dos programas e o interesse que tem esse grupo populacional de continuar em processos educativos ao longo da vida para seu enriquecimento pessoal, autoconhecimento e os encontros intergeracionais em ambientes de flexibilidade e participação social.
