Abstract

The text that is presented is the result of analyses that reverberate and deepen the studies on Paul Natorp’s ideas in Social Pedagogy as a philosophical conception based on Plato and Pestalozzi. It is a qualitative bibliographic research. In a timely manner, it explores Paulo Freire’s ideas, promotes the appropriation of social education practices in integration with Natorp’s perspective on education that is constructed and effective in the contexts of education that is developed in the community. Hence, education belongs to the subjects who coexist and change themselves towards a fairer society, with alterity and social equity.

Keywords: Natorp. Social Pedagogy. Community education.
