ANÁLISE MECÃNICA DA INFLUÊNCIA DE ADIÇÃO DE PIGMENTOS EM CONCRETO AUTOADENSÁVEL DE CIMENTO PORTLAND BRANCO ESTRUTURAL
Abstract
The growing technological advances provide the development of new materials in the area of civil construction, presenting these, characteristics and different behaviors. Concrete composed of white Portland cement with addition of pigment is an example of this, although its use is already used for architectural and structural purposes, few published works that show the behavior of the same. From this context, this research aims to analyze the influence of the addition of pigments on the compressive strength of self-compacting concrete of white Portland cement. Pigments based on hydroxide and iron oxide are used in two colors, yellow and red, respectively. For each color three percentages were studied in relation to the cement mass: 3%, 4% and 5%. The test specimens were submitted to the tests of compressive strength and dynamic elastic modulus at the ages of 3, 7, 28 and 91 days. It was found that not only the different percentages, but also the color used can influence the loss of resistance and workability.
