ANÁLISE DE RISCOS OCUPACIONAIS DAS ATIVIDADES DESENVOLVIDAS NO LARSEN- LABORATÓRIO DE INOVAÇÃO EM APROVEITAMENTO DE RESÍDUO E SUSTENTABILIDADE ENERGÉTICA DO IFTO – CAMPUS PALMAS
Abstract
The present study sought to identify the main risks / dangers involved in the Innovation Laboratory in Waste Utilization and Energy Sustainability (LARSEN) at IFTO - Campus Palmas. For that, the Preliminary Risk Analysis (APR) methodology was used for risk analysis due to the characteristics of the laboratory, which is used constantly and needs a study to identify the potential hazards arising from the installations and processes. Aiming to gather information that contributes to minimizing the possibilities and mitigating the severity of accidents in the laboratory and contributing to changing the behavior of users and those responsible for the environment, in compliance with current legislation, in addition to observing the most serious risks and suggesting measures for control. The data were collected and analyzed using the tool, which consists of an advance and detailed study of the environment and the processes in order to detect the possible problems that may happen during the execution of a certain task. Through the application of the analysis it was possible to recognize the risks found in the environment and to propose control measures, thus demonstrating that the applied methodology is an instrument for mitigating accidents in the work environment as in a laboratory that performs mainly chemical analyzes that due the characteristics increase the possibilities and consequences of accidents occurring, being of fundamental importance the knowledge of the risks and the control measures.
