AHP AND ANP COMBINED WITH CONSTRAINED OPTIMIZATION METHOD ON MULTICRITERIA DECISION-MAKING FOR PREVENTIVE MAINTENECE

Abstract

The present work proposes the application of a combined methodology, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Analytic Network Process (ANP) with the Particle Swarm (PSO) optimization method from the modeling of alternatives in multiobjective functions, balanced by the weight of relative criteria, to optimize the interval between preventive maintenance (PM), considering reliability, cost and availability priorities. The text reviews the theory of decision-making methodologies, PSO structure, and the main parameters of industrial maintenance.

An objective function is proposed to be minimized, and finally, the results are presents in a commented form. The results show that the combined method is a good tool. Its application is endorsed by the results and simple implementation. At the conclusion, due considerations are made.
