AVALIAÇÃO DOS DEFEITOS DE PAVIMENTO FLEXÍVEL ATRAVÉS DO MÉTODO DO VALOR DE SERVENTIA ATUAL (VSA) EM APUCARANA-PR
Abstract
The evaluation of the rolling condition of a flexible pavement is important for the perception of present defects and to consider whether the situation found requires intervention or not, in order to guarantee comfort, safety and economy for road users. This work allowed the analysis of irregularities present in the surface of 2200 meters of Denhei Kanashiro street, in Apucarana-PR, through the subjective method of the Current Value of Service (VSA). Ten people traveled by ten stretches of the studied road and gave grades from 0 to 5 as for the comfort during the journey. The average of these opinions led the track to reach the concept “good” for its first 1100 meters and “regular” for the last 1100 meters. By analyzing the data that led to the results, it is concluded that the VSA method has good applicability for an initial assessment and that the first 1100 meters of the track analyzed should have greater attention to its irregularities and needs in relation to activities of maintenance and rehabilitation.
