TECHNOLOGICAL CONTROL OF AN ASPHALT WORK ON AVENIDA FARQUAR/RO

Abstract

This study aimed to carry out a quality control study of a paving work on a stretch of Avenida Farquar, located in the central area of the city of Porto Velho/RO. Characterization tests were carried out to determine the Marshall parameters of the mixture (stability, creep, void volume and bitumen-void ratio), bitumen content, mixture granulometry and apparent field density. For this, specimens obtained with the aid of a rotating probe were used. At the end of the study, it was possible to compare the results with the design data, as well as the current Brazilian standards.
