ESTUDO DA UTILIZAÇÃO DE TINTAS FLEXOGRÁFICAS ADITIVADAS COM CERA DE POLIETILENO EM SUBSTRATOS LAMINADOS
Abstract
Flexible packages are divided into monolayers and multilayers, both of which differ by the addition of 1% to 5% of external converter used in the multilayer. The converter used in monolayer paints is composed of polyethylene wax, with properties to beautify the surface, adding value to the package and protecting against the action of weather and bad weather. For this purpose, this study aimed to study the percentage of monolayer paint mixed with lamination paint to be used in multilayer packaging, in order to reduce and unify the lines and also reduce the stock of monolayer lines. The drying and viscosity of the black and magenta inks were analyzed, subsequently the printing of four samples with different additives and after that, the peel strength tests and the COF of the samples were carried out. However, it was concluded that inks 100% additive with monolayer external converter, where the substrates are PE, can be used in multilayer packaging, according to the data presented in the tests.
