LEAKS MONITORING IN A SMALL SCALE PIPING MODEL FOR WATER FLOW CONTROL

Abstract

In Brazil, several cities face problems in their water supply, to alleviate this problem it is necessary to create solutions capable of helping the population in the process of rationing and proper use of water. This project seeks to present a solution to leakage problems in pipes, through a scaled prototype so that parameters and flow behavior can be analyzed before and after a leak. A main module (Arduino) that receives information from the sensor modules and forwards it to a central system. This application makes information available to the user through graphics, showing the water consumption of the monitored points, making the user aware of the water consumption of their residence, helping them to take measures to save water.
