EFEITOS DA SUBSTITUIÇÃO DO AGREGADO MIÚDO POR RESÍDUO DE VIDRO EM ARGAMASSA DE REVESTIMENTO
Abstract
With sustainability in civil construction bias, this work seeks to identify the physical and mechanical viability of using a glass residue as an alternative to replace fine aggregate. In this way, the experimental research program has two stages the first being the characterization of the materials and the second in the preparation of the mortar and its analysis in the fresh and hardened state. For 1:1:6 mix mortar (cement:lime:sand), with substitution levels of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35% by volume compared to the reference mortar (without replacing the fine aggregate). The evaluation with a consistency index at 260 ± 10 mm, showed a similar behavior in the water retention capacities, resistance to adhesion and water absorption by capillarity, reduction in mass density and increase in tensile strengths in flexion and compression.
