COMPORTAMENTO DE ARGAMASSA DE ASSENTAMENTO COM INCORPORAÇÃO DE RESÍDUO DE BORRACHA EM PÓ
Abstract
The craving for an ecologically sustainable world and the obstinacy of man leads him to seek new technologies that contribute to the reduction of improperly disposed waste into the environment. The construction sector has sought to reuse waste generated through other economic activities, including tire waste. Thus, the present work aims to evaluate the physical and mechanical behavior of cementitious mortar obtained from the partial replacement of fine aggregate with rubber waste powder. For test preparations, sand, cement, water, and rubber waste powder were used with a dosage ratio of 1:3 (cement:aggregate) proportion established, replacing the fine aggregate with the rubber waste with 2.5% and 5% in mass proportions. As for the results, it was possible to observe the decrease in the values of mixture consistency and compression resistance from the replacement of sand for rubber waste.
