DIAGNOSTIC ANALYSIS OF THE PATHOLOGICAL MANIFESTATIONS OF A RESIDENCE IN CRITICAL STRUCTURAL CONDITION LOCATED IN TERESINA – PI

Abstract

Abstract: This paper presents a study of pathology analysis observed in a building of the City Hall of Teresina, which is in critical structural state, having as objective to evaluate its pathological manifestations and to conclude if it is advantageous to carry out the reform or the demolition of the structure. The qualitative approach method was chosen to perform the pathological evaluations, presenting the conflicts and possible solutions for the property. After the study, because the structure has several high-risk pathologies, it was concluded that the most advisable thing to do is to demolish the structure, and then conduct an in-depth study of the site to analyze the possibility of rebuilding the property on site.
