ANÁLISE DO CONSUMO DE AR COMPRIMIDO - ESTUDO DE CASO EM UMA INDÚSTRIA DE MÁQUINAS AGRÍCOLAS

Abstract

Controlling the consumption of resources in a company is essential for success in an environment of increasing competition. The purpose of this article was to quantify the consumption of compressed air and analyze if the devices for the production of compressed air meet the necessary demand, in an agricultural machinery company in the city of Fortaleza, Ceará, in order to promote greater economy and correct dimensioning of the compressed air network. All data collections were carried out with the company. After obtaining all the data referring to the list of machines that use compressed air, existing devices for the generation of compressed air and daily collection of compressed air consumption, it was observed that the quantification of consumption and the adoption of measures of adequacy of the network are essential to control and avoid excessive costs in the production, treatment, storage and distribution of compressed air.
