DESENVOVIMENTO E CONSTRUÇÃO DE UM TRANSMISSOR E INDICADOR DE DISTÂNCIA COM SAÍDAS ANALÓGICAS E COMUNICAÇÃO BLUETOOTH
Abstract
Distance meters are widely used in industry, being fundamental for numerous applications. Some barriers, such as the high cost of acquisition, difficult commercial access and the low number of domestic manufacturers, limit its use in machine, equipment and production process projects. This work aimed to develop and build a low-cost transmitter and distance indicator, using affordable electronic components available in the local market. The built device performs the distance measurement through a laser sensor, showing the measurement on a graphic display. Analog outputs were used according to the standards adopted in the industry (voltage and current), and connection via bluetooth, enabling the sending and receiving of data to an Android application, smartphones, computers, controllers, among others. The transmitter was tested and calibrated on the bench, and later connected to a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and to a variable speed motor drive (VSD).
