Abstract

As a competitive advantage in the market, the automation process in the production line brings countless benefits to industrial sectors and companies. The adoption of new devices and technological transformations, characteristic of the current industrial revolution that we are currently going through, undoubtedly provides the improvement and use of the available time, as well as the reduction of costs, in addition to guaranteeing personalized and differentiated products. Thus, the production line, or assembly line, is mass production in which products are standardized, seeking speed, quality and profitability in the production process. And automation is a series of techniques for building systems capable of receiving information and data and thus performing certain actions with a minimum of human intervention throughout the process, enabling the existence of autonomous and independent machines. Combining these two concepts, one can see the feasibility of transposing to an automated system, requiring technological investments and training of operators, so that industrial companies can maximize profitability and gain prominence at competitive levels in the face of the consumer market.
