OS BENEFÍCIOS DO BIM EM UM PROJETO HIDROSSANITÁRIO RESIDENCIAL EM BOA VISTA, RORAIMA

Abstract

BIM is the creation of an innovative and sustainable virtual model with technical information of a building. The Hydrosanitary Project is the most complex of all projects, as it is full of constructive details, confusing to be read and interpreted incorrectly at construction sites. BIM with Revit® allows the computational modeling of Hydrosanitary Installations in three dimensions, making them real and detailed, avoiding errors, rework, costs and construction waste. The cost per square meter of Civil Construction in Roraima is among the highest in Brazil and above the national average, so the objective of this article was to describe the benefits of BIM in a Residential Hydrosanitary Project. For this purpose, a medium standard Residential Architectural Project, located in Boa Vista, Roraima, was used. The Hydrosanitary Project was modeled using the BIM platform with the Revit® Software and the use of an Acer computer. The ease of examining and illustrating the details of hydrosanitary installations in three dimensions was one of the benefits of BIM, and the automatic detection of interferences between projects and the identification of solutions, avoiding errors, rework and costs was another benefit of BIM through Revit®
