ESTUDO BIBLIOGRÁFICO SOBRE AS DIFICULDADES APRESENTADAS POR PRODUTORES DE MORANGO NO MUNICÍPIO DE CANDÓI – PR

Abstract

In this article, we report the difficulties faced by strawberry producers in the region of the municipality of Candói - PR, after a literature review on the issues observed and reported by the producers. Among the numerous difficulties that could be described the main ones reported by producers and employees were the lack of technical assistance, production costs and investments in technology, damage from pests and diseases and climate. With the monitoring of a technician, it attracts more customers for the producer, because it is seen as a favor to the producer, because having a monitoring the profitability margin increases with a better quality of the products offered. With the advances of the years the family agriculture nowadays, the small farmers, cannot assimilate the costs and production of their activities, however with the presentable characteristics, the producers look for alternatives of temporary cultures. The appearance of pests and diseases is inevitable for any crop produced, the strawberry is vulnerable to climate variations, when there are high amounts of humidity the chance of fungus proliferation increases, causing the pathogen to attack the roots absorbing the nutrients. In regions where they are located near the tropics and where the temperature is higher, the strawberry crop remains in the vegetative stage and when there is production the fruits become acidic and poor in flavor.
