Abstract

Construction site is defined as the support area for the execution of a construction, so it is necessary to hire temporary services, such as the supply of electricity for the full operation of the work. This article aims to study the logistics of using the electricity demand as well as the dimensioning of the energy input of a construction site of a multifamily residential development. To this end, a work delivered in 2022 was studied. The method used was interviews, analysis of the records of the work and the project of the construction site and bibliographic information. It is possible to verify the existence of a direct relationship between energy consumption and the number of employees, so it is coherent to propose a per capita energy consumption indicator of 43 kWh/employee. It was also found that the expected demand for the construction site in the project represented an oversizing of 154%. The research also allowed the analysis of two scenarios for the input of electricity, and from these data it was possible to obtain a cost reduction of 59.69%. Through the results obtained in this article, it is possible to use it for the design of future construction sites.
