ESTUDO COMPARATIVO DA ANÁLISE DE TENSÃO ENTRE ENGRENAGENS DE DENTES RETOS E ENGRENAGENS HELICOIDAIS
Abstract
The present study aims to carry out a comparison, through computer simulation through the Autodesk Inventor Software, with a scope focused on the analysis of tension between two different types of gear (straight teeth gear and helical gear) both having the same measurement, same number of teeth and with the same application, having as main objective to prove, through the finite element method, which of the gears has a better resistance to tension. In the project, the place of application of both gears was in the differential of a truck with a maximum power of 110 kW, with an acting force of 20.9 kN (or 20900,000N), such force will only act on 10 teeth in both gears. After applying the force, it was possible to observe through a report the way it acts on the teeth of both gears, the deformation that can be caused due to the force used, the maximum effort in which both can be subjected and the tensions of the planes.
