ANÁLISE DA QUALIDADE DA ENERGIA ELÉTRICA DO PRÉDIO DE SALAS DE AULA DA UFVJM – CAMPUS JANAÚBA

Authors

Abstract

This article aimed to evaluate the power quality in a low voltage electrical installation at UFVJM in the city of Janaúba/MG. For the evaluation, the MAR-722 power quality analyzer device made available by UFVJM - Campus Diamantina was used, using the parameters described and regulated by module 8 of the Electric Energy Distribution Procedures in the national electrical system (PRODIST), from the National Agency of Electric Energy (ANEEL). Measurements were made on the electrical network over a period of seven days at the distribution board located in the classroom pavilion. The electrical data analyzed showed voltage changes considered precarious and critical, the frequency sometimes exceeded or did not reach the limits established by PRODIST and the harmonic distortions of electrical voltage recorded by the MAR-722 power quality analyzer were within the accepted parameters. After the data was processed, they were compared with reference values for power quality, proving the existence of possible abnormalities in the classroom building's electrical network, caused by electrical and electronic equipment, considered non-linear loads, which inject high rates of electrical distortions or require a lot of load to activate them.
