APLICAÇÃO DA REALIDADE AUMENTADA EM PROJETOS ELÉTRICOS
Abstract
The way constructions are planned is evolving. Building Information Modeling (BIM) involves creating a detailed digital representation of a building. This article explores the application of BIM in the design of a house, covering both architectural and electrical aspects. To carry out this process, the assistance of the FreeCAD Software, available for free, was required. A structured methodology was followed to ensure the accuracy of the design. Throughout the development, several results were obtained, with the most significant being the three-dimensional model of the house. BIM benefits from its ability to identify conflicts and potential issues before they even occur. This allows for decision-making and avoiding failures during project execution. In the end, a detailed virtual representation of the house was produced, enabling visualization in 3D. This article emphasizes the importance of BIM in the construction industry, highlighting the utility of open-source software. The integration of technologies revolutionizes the way projects are conceived and executed, offering greater efficiency, precision, and cost savings.
