ANÁLISE DO SISTEMA DE MEDIÇÃO APLICADOS A ELEMENTOS DE VEDAÇÃO – UM ESTUDO DE CASO

Authors

Abstract

In this study, the authors present the theoretical principles used in Measurement System Analysis (MSA), detailing the different approaches used in determining the repeatability and reproducibility of a measurement system. Repeatability and reproducibility in the context of measurement systems analysis science is one of the parameters that evaluate the ability of the measurement method to produce results reliably. The approaches studied are the mean and range method (Automotive Industry Action Group approach), the honest repeatability and reproducibility method (approach described in Evaluating the Measurement Process) and the analysis of variance method, also known as ANOVA. A description is made of how each of these methods is used for measuring the height of a pipe laying part. The results of the three evaluations were compared with each other, and the main advantages and advantages of each strategy were presented.
