ESTUDO DOS MODOS DE VIBRAÇÃO DE UMA VIGA BIENGASTADA
Abstract
This paper presents a study on the vibration modes of a split beam (bar fixed at two ends). The equations obtained are reduced to a partial differential equation known as the Euler-Bernoulli equation, which presents a reasonably good description for the vibration modes of slender beams, without shear, when compared with empirical data. The study of this dynamics was carried out analytically and through simulation. In this way, the vibration frequencies were obtained from the roots of transcendental equations using the GEOGEBRA software and the finite element method.
