OTIMIZAÇÃO DE AJUSTES DE RELÉS DE SOBRECORRENTE EM LINHAS DE SUBTRANSMISSÃO EM ANEL
Abstract
The use of a tuning optimization study is extremely important in the process of parameterizing overcurrent relays, serving as a supporting tool for the decision-making of the protection engineer responsible for preparing the protection coordination study, making the study accurate and fast. This article presents the application of an algorithm for the optimization of the coordination of directional overcurrent relays installed on transmission lines in meshed systems. For this, a computational tool was developed on the Scilab platform using the PSO algorithm - Particle Swarm Optimization. The developed tool also seeks to simplify the input of data required for the optimization algorithm, such as ampacity and positive sequence impedance of cables. The main functionalities of the proposed application in this work are: (i) Automatic calculation of short-circuit conditions (on buses and close-in on lines), (ii) determination of the restrictions to be met, (iii) optimization of IEC C1 NI curves. The proposed optimization technique brought promising results, whose fault elimination times were satisfactory and met all the restrictions imposed by the analyzed system for all the evaluated faults cases.
