THE SPACE OF HOME, A CENARY OF DEATH: AN INTERSECCTIONAL APROACH ON FEMINICIDIES IN THE STATE OF PIAUÍ IN THE CONTEXT OF THE PANDEMIC

Abstract

In the presente article, we disccus the particularities of the cases of feminicide in the state of Piauí during the context of the pandemic, observing the space of the house as a cenary of power relations and production of letal violence. In the analysis, we see the combinations of present categories in the feminine experience and the circumstances that result in death. The sutudy was built trought the combination of qualitative and quantitave approaches: using statistics analysis to verify the overall landscape fo feminicide and a documental analysis of the police reports and other initial pieces that compose the police inquiries that investigate feminicides, to acess its qualitative elements.
