This article seeks to investigate to what extent there is a change in the political participation of women in disputes for the position of federal deputy in Brazil. Its main objective is to identify changes, trends, and stagnation points in this process. For that, was used information regarding the profiles of competing and elected groups from three elections (2010, 2014, and 2018). This data, provided by the Superior Electoral Court, was processed using descriptive statistical techniques. The analysis showed that despite some changes, such as the increase in the number of elected female federal deputies, women still prevail among disqualified candidacies and the profile of the elected group suffered little or almost no change from one election to another.
