Abstract

The central theme of this text is the importance of situated education and how our sexual orientation impacts our geographical practice in the classroom. Denial, doubt and affirmation were three adverbial modes of compositng the writing of us supported by the movement of the verb to be. The school finds itself at the cleavage of hospitality and hostility, corresponding to the ways in which we relate ourselves to it. This text builds a writing of us or an engaged writing, rooted in the situationality of sexuality-in-situation. We understand the existential phenomenology as a method that, based on the writing of the life geographies of a gay professor, in this case, become biographical writings as constructions of writings anchored in situationality.
