Intersectionalized urbanization analytical proposal in Brazil and some notes on Ribeirão Preto (São Paulo)

The article analyzes the process of capitalist corporate urbanization from the intersection that characterizes Brazilian socio-spatial formation, highlighting the connections of gender, race and social class. The analytical propose is presented in general lines at the national level and some notes of genesis of the city of Ribeirão Preto, in the countryside of the state of São Paulo. For this purpose, the research carried out from a bibliographical review, and it is exposed through the urban policies, the gentrification of the urban space and the sexual and racial division of work that massify the periphery throughout the country. The article points to a reproduction of the inequalities of gender, race and class that are associated with the massification of the periphery of the cities. Thus, it is understood that the genesis of the intersectional urbanization continues until today in Brazil.
